Performance Opportunities

End of Semester Recitals

December/January and May/June

All students are invited to participate in our end of semester recitals in December/January and May/June. Recitals are followed by a potluck reception. The recitals are a wonderful way to celebrate each student's progress and come together as a studio to encourage each other.

Additional Performance Opportunities

I am working on setting up additional performance opportunities for students, beyond our end-of-semester recitals, at area senior centers and homes. Please check back for updates, and let me know if you have a venue to suggest for these informal concerts.

Competition Winners' Recitals

Students also have the opportunity to perform through various other organizations. For students who take the Royal Conservatory of Music assessments, students receiving the highest score for their level in New Jersey will be invited to play on the Celebration of Excellence Recital at Carnegie Hall. Students scoring 90 or above who score the highest mark at their testing center may also be invited to perform on the Carnegie Hall concert. Another path to Carnegie Hall is the Little Mozarts Competition (ages 3 to 14) and Crescendo International Competition (ages 5 to 22). Students receiving a ranking of First Place Honor or Second Place Honor will be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. For both competitions, students receiving Third Place Honor will also be invited to perform on a winners recital at locations in New York and Massachusetts.
